SECURITY FORCES OPERATIONS FACILITY
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE

Two-story building providing new headquarters for base-wide security, including armory,
office space, dispatch center, detention area, and warehouse.

Office space is 23,000 sq. ft. over two stories, with locker/shower and assembly areas
for over 400 base security officers.

Armory consists of 1,500 sq. ft. of weapons storage area surrounded by 8 inch thick
concrete vault construction.

Dispatch area provides 24-hour call center and security monitoring for entire air force base,
as well as supervision of adjacent detention cells.

Warehouse consists of 16,000 sq. ft. of high bay storage area allowing rack systems
up to 24 feet high.

Building design features highly articulated precast concrete panels matching those of
adjacent training facility.

Highly energy-efficient project designed for Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design (LEED) Silver Certification.
